Saudi Arabia Joins Global Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Partnership

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has officially joined the International Partnership for the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Economy (IPHE), a global initiative fostering collaboration on hydrogen and fuel cell technology development.

The Ministry of Energy announced that this step highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to sustainability and its ambition to become a leading producer and exporter of clean hydrogen.

Saudi Arabia has pledged carbon neutrality by 2060 and aims to play a pivotal role in the global transition to efficient, cleaner energy systems.

Launched in 2003 by the US, the IPHE focuses on education, outreach, and regulatory standards to accelerate hydrogen adoption worldwide.
