Saudi Defense Minister Meets Senior US Officials in Washington
RIYADH — Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the State Department on Tuesday to discuss Saudi-US relations and their shared vision for international peace and security.
In a post on X, Prince Khalid emphasized their commitment to overcoming common challenges and addressing key issues of mutual interest. Senior officials from both nations attended the meeting.
Earlier, the Saudi defense minister also met with US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz. On Monday, he held discussions with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, focusing on the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
