Saudi Education Minister emphasizes the goal of developing generations that can compete on a global scale.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Education, Yousef Al-Benyan, commended the Kingdom’s leadership for its unwavering support in the continuous development of the education system.

Al-Benyan highlighted that this support is crucial for cultivating globally competitive citizens through educational initiatives that align with future goals, contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program.

As the new academic year begins, the minister emphasized the need to integrate the roles of all education stakeholders, including families and schools, to meet the Kingdom’s aspirations for preparing and qualifying students.

He underscored the importance of investing in students to empower them to compete on a global stage, stressing the shared responsibility for a successful academic year and a comprehensive educational journey.

Al-Benyan outlined that the Ministry of Education’s plan for the new academic year is built on a strategic and integrated governance framework, involving all sectors, departments, and education offices across regions and governorates.

“This is achieved through specialized committees and departments tasked with supervision, implementation, and operation within a comprehensive system that includes educational and administrative staff and field teams,” he added.

Furthermore, the minister noted that the ministry aims to create a stimulating and attractive learning environment for students at the start of the academic year. This involves boosting their enthusiasm, raising awareness of the importance of commitment, and implementing psychological, social, and educational preparation programs within the school setting.

Al-Benyan also mentioned that the ministry has strengthened its partnerships with public and private sector entities, forming an integrated partnership system to support the continuity and success of the educational process as the academic year commences.

Ongoing collaboration with families is also maintained to ensure the success of the education process, regular school attendance, and motivating students to continue their educational journey.
