RIYADH: Arab leaders have extended their congratulations to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in celebration of Saudi Founding Day.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Kuwait’s Emir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, sent a cable of congratulations to the Saudi leadership. In his message, he commended the Kingdom’s remarkable achievements across various fields, which have strengthened its position both regionally and globally.
Similarly, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi conveyed his congratulations, emphasizing the special significance of Founding Day for the Saudi people. He described the occasion as a testament to the Kingdom’s enduring legacy and outstanding accomplishments.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) leadership also extended congratulatory messages to the Saudi King and Crown Prince, joining other regional leaders in honoring the occasion.
Saudi Founding Day, observed annually on February 22, commemorates the establishment of the first Saudi state in 1727 under the leadership of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, marking a pivotal moment in the Kingdom’s rich history.
