Saudi Aramco Awards $1.5 Billion CCS Contract to Larsen & Toubro
Saudi Aramco has awarded Larsen & Toubro’s Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) division the main EPC contract for the first phase of its Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) hub. Valued at approximately $1.5 billion, the contract is part of Aramco’s Accelerated Carbon Capture & Sequestration (ACCS) initiative, aimed at reducing carbon emissions and boosting its CCS capacity. This project is a crucial step in advancing Saudi Aramco’s environmental goals and enhancing its role in the global energy transition.
